Since Nov. 11th...

Hmm... so I see I haven't posted since Nov. 11th.. bad bad! Actually, I've been sort of diving in to my work at the office. I'm making it a resolution to update this a bit more frequently because I miss doing so.

So, here's what's been going on since Nov. 11, somewhat in chronological order and includes some of the larger "events":

- A group of us went up to the Safe House in Milwaukee on Nov. 18 for Rick's birthday. I'd heard a lot about this place and was eager to see what it was all about. I'd definitely recommend this place for a nice change of pace on an evening out.

- On Nov. 19 we headed up to the Whirleyball facility in Vernon Hills for Justin E's birthday (thanks Kelly!). This is a unique game that was a total blast to play. I literally thought I had busted a kidney when it was over! Everyone had a good time, bruises and all. Can't wait to go back.

- Thanksgiving was nice. I spent some time with Lidia's family early in the day before heading out to dinner with my family in the evening. We deciding to mostly stay in on black Friday and watched some movies. It turned out to be a very nice weekend.

- Dec. 16: Lidia and I went to see the Nutcracker performance at the Genesee Theatre. I have a soft spot for theatre and enjoy seeing it when I have a chance. It was a very impressive performance by a local dance company- not quite as elaborate as Chicago's Jeoffrey Ballet's version, but impressive none the less.

- Vacation Dec. 18-22: It was a welcome week off of work. I don't normally take time off during the winter months, but it was somewhat productive. As always, I didn't get to do a lot of the stuff I wanted to- time really flies!

-The Christmas holidays were very nice. Spent time with Lidia's family to start on Christmas eve and then ended up at my house later that evening to watch my little nieces and nephews open presents and get happy!

- New Year's: Lidia and I met Brenda at Jeff's place for a little dinner, some football at a local bar, and then a little partying later. It was low key, safe, and fun.

- 2007? Can't wait...
